Altair appoints Theo Verbruggen as New Sales Director for BENELUX
Dedicated representative to strengthen Altair’s local presence
Böblingen, Germany October 31, 2017 – Altair is pleased to announce that Theo Verbruggen has joined Altair as new Sales Director for BENELUX, where he will be responsible for all sales activities, strategies, and further expansion of Altair's presence in the Benelux region. As Altair’s operations in Benelux continue to grow, the appointment of Verbruggen will respond to the needs of our BENELUX customers and thus strengthen Altair's local presence and expands its regional activities.
Verbruggen comes to Altair after three years as Director of Global Sales at Simpleware (recently acquired by Synopsys), provider of 3D image-based visualization and meshing software, where he was responsible for the overall global strategy of the company's commercial activities. Before that he spent twelve years working as Director of Technical Sales for Simulia Benelux and GEO Leader for Dassault Systèmes Benelux. At Dassault Systèmes, Verbruggen was responsible for leading the company's Benelux operations, including the SIMULIA Benelux Centre of Simulation Excellence. He is an expert in developing business solutions for software and brings over twenty years of B2B sales and marketing experience to his new position.
