Many industries and applications involve bulk and granular materials interacting with machines and fluids. The use of Multiphysics and Altair EDEM software can play a major role when trying to understand, predict and optimize bulk material handling equipment and processes.
This presentation provides an introduction to the Multiphysics capabilities and options available with Altair EDEM. It includes an overview of the benefits obtained from combining EDEM with other solvers and software from Altair, including couplings to finite element method (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and multi-body dynamics (MBD).
